Hello! I'm John, a freelance designer based in Bordeaux. Graduating with a BA (Hons) in Design (in Visual Communication) at Waterford Institute of Technology (now renamed South East Technical University) in 2020. I've since worked on projects spanning photography, web, and e-commerce.

What do you need from me to get started?
If you have any existing ideas, moodboards, or market research, we can use this to establish a visual direction for your project. Not sure where to start? No problem. We'll discuss your needs together and take it from there.
What are your payment terms?
Payment terms can vary from project to project, but you can expect to pay an initial upfront deposit to get started. The final project files will only be released on receipt of a full final payment, as agreed.
Do you offer ongoing retainer relationships?
Ongoing retainer relationships are possible, subject to availability and a contractual agreement.
What translation services do you provide?
I can provide english translations for your customer-facing marketing material for the tourism and export markets (e.g. menus, flyers, packaging copy, etc.). I don't provide direct interpretation services, however.
What photo services do you provide?
Photo services can include portraiture, food and beverage photography, product photography, retouching and more. For specific requests please get in touch.
Will I own the full rights to my logo/brand identity?
After full payment and final project delivery, you'll receive copyright ownership rights for the delivered work, subject to our agreed contract. I do, however, reserve the right to showcase the designs in my portfolio.
Are web-hosting and domain-name services included?
As you'll be the sole owner of your website, I cannot purchase web-hosting or domains on your behalf. Instead, we can hunt for the best prices together and I can make recommendations based on your needs.
Are printing costs included in your fees?
Printing costs are not included in my fees so you'll need to factor those into your overall budget. If you're based in the Bordeaux area, I can request a quote from local printers on your behalf.
