Internet. Music. Nostalgia.

For this brief, a client approached me to design a brand identity for his DJ gigs and YouTube channel. His sound and overall content draw heavily from the early‑internet electronic music scene, so the visual identity needed to reflect that same era.

The challenge was to capture the nostalgia of the MySpace and music blogging scene while keeping the design modern and relevant for today. With the themes of trends and discovery in mind, I took inspiration from weather graphs and lo-fi tech.
